Hello and welcome!! I'm sorry it's been so hush hush around this blog in particular. Since Digital Blu has made its debut to the world of Facebook, I have been updating that first. I apologize for that happening, but I will try my best from now on to update this at the same time as well. Well, on to the updates and such! Photography From a request by my sister, I have done a photo shoot of our family and well as couple shots. These are only some examples of my photography work this past weekend. Despite the cold weather at the Chicago Botanic Garden, we continued with the photo shoot. I enjoyed every bit of being a part of it and being the photographer nonetheless. If anyone wants a photo shoot of any kind or just like to make a request, then please don't hesitate to do so! Photography has been my main focal point since my absence around this blog. For those of you who would not like looking around for the original, here it is: I did change it to black and white and only focused on the important part of the photo, with adding some of my own touches to it...the stars background. So what do you guys, the audience, think? I put this one off for far too long and while having the time and inspiration to get back into making digital paintings, I went with it. Hello and Welcome!! Sorry for no actual art updates, I have been busy with 2-3 painting projects dealing with my small business and a painting/drawing I promised a friend a long while back. Here is the painting: It an anime character off of a "How to Draw Manga" comic book I got from the friend who wanted me to draw it for him. I surprised him with it this Tuesday and I liked that he said he will mat/frame it and of course I did sign it once I finished it completely. The original drawing is here: I know some of the colors aren't close to it on mine and a bit out of proportion in some parts, but at least I didn't give up when those situations crossed my path and well....just gave up completely. I need to get back into drawing people/characters and proportions, I was never good at those. That's one project I have been working on, the others have been mouse pads- one as a commission for a small business and the other just as a gift. ~~~~~~ Ericc Mouse pad
