Novelettes by Alex
Hello and welcome to Novelettes by Alex! This is where I will put links to my short stories that I write, illustrate [at times], and share to anyone who likes reading short stories. Before, I didn't have ideas and an editor to edit my stories, but I found a method that work in my favor and will test it out soon! As for the ideas part, I found an excellent book that is helping me out with this part. My hand wanted to write, it had an itch, and my dreams haven't been as interesting as they were before, so I had to compromise somehow. Maybe one day, if I do have a dream that's understandable, then I will write it and add it in here. And to add a little background to my writing, I did take a creative writing class during high school and have gotten one of my poems published in a book. My real dream is to one day have all of my stories to be published and be sold, so this is also a short goal of mine to happen. My inspirations I look up to is Stephen King and I don't know how he does it, but I would like to be as great as him one day so why not start now with some help!
As of now, I do not know what rating my stories will be, since they can change from one story to the next, especially with this help I found. What is this help I keep mentioning you ask? Well, I found this delightful book in Half Price Books called Write the Story by Piccadilly Inc. It gives you ideas and words in which you have to use within your story. It can be a long story or a short story. For me, I decided to end when the story would like to end and each topic the book gives me I will combine with whatever characters I make since the beginning. Exciting isn't it? So without further ado, I will add at least 2-3 topics from the book as the title of the story in this page. So please check back when I do add an updated post on my Facebook Business Page stating that there is new post or story added. I also created an account over at Wattpad and I will add a link redirecting you to that page from this blog. So enjoy!
