The Writing bug struck a nerve

Hello and Welcome! Photography There have been a couple of projects on the side with my photography. Most, of course, have been of events we have gone and I have taken pictures of. By now, most of the Cosplay photos have rolled out onto the Digital Blu Facebook page and some new ones will be on their way from a small event we went to in Taylor, Texas. It was a small convention regarding toy trains and Legos. All these pictures from this event will be crawling out now until mid October. I do have another project on the side regarding my extensive collection of The X-Files memorabilia that I have collected over the years, starting around in the year 1998 or 1999. I first put these photos in my personal Facebook page, to display them since I am very proud of my collection and still to this day am still collecting an item I do not own. I have crossed these photos to my Digital Blu Facebook page as well, as practice for my Product Photography hobby that I would like to turn into a busine

Tv Review: Game of Thrones and finale

Game of Thrones "I s roughly based on the storylines of A Song of Ice and Fire, set in the fictional Seven Kingdoms of Westeros and the continent of Essos. The series chronicles the violent dynastic struggles among the realm's noble families for the Iron Throne, while other families fight for independence from it." - Wikipedia . In all technicality, the show was based on the books authored by George R.R. Martin which have the same name or boxed into one whole series called Game of Thrones: A Song of Ice and Fire. Following that there are 7 books total and each have their own name, i.e. A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords, etc. The last two books are still in the making. You are most definitely introduced to many different characters, but in the show you are introduced to The Starks, The Lannisters and The Targaryens, 3 completely different households. Throughout the whole series you see lots of battles, back stabbing and secrets being exposed

New pages and hobbies!

Hello and welcome! 100 Likes Well, my Facebook Page has finally received 100 likes! I want to Thank each and every one of you, the audience. I want to Thank you for believing in me, my hobbies and all that I am able to show and share with you all. I am very proud of my page getting to 100 likes, it really does mean a lot to me. It shows that you do care to follow it and what I have to offer you! Even if its not 5+ likes that I get in each post that I add, which I would like too but not trying to be greedy now, but just liking my page just shows that you are paying attention and like what you see. Hopefully we can push it to 150 or 200 likes later, who knows, but I hope so once all of my hobbies turn into successful businesses. So, here's to more likes in the future! Events So, C2E2 came and went and it was a hassle. I was able to take as many photos as I could of cosplay, so those photos will be coming soon. Once I finish adding all the classic cars in the Facebook Page, then

Take one, take two...

Hello and welcome! Events As you were able to see on the Facebook Page, I have added placeholders of events that I will be attending. These are already been confirmed that I will be there and those are two conventions. Most of the other events that will come up will be free unless told otherwise by their site, if available. So far, the two conventions are called C2E2 located in Chicago, Illinois and the other is A-kon located in Dallas, Texas. I will try to attend any type of event that I am able or willing to have objects displayed for me to photograph. I am going to try my best to attend at least 2 events per month, unless there are more within the same month and hopefully all the events that I see and want to attend to are free. So far, the Rock N Rides car show in Cedar Park, Texas was a success. There was not much of a crowd, tons of classic and modern cars, and the weather was perfect. In the morning hours that day, we did have storms and the event was going to continue w

2019 and beyond!

2019 Welcome to 2019 folks! I hope that this new year treats you well and keeps you in the positive path in any decision or journey that crosses in your life. If you're an artist, in any shape or form, then I hope you stay creative, original, and inspirational! So, let's begin! Facebook So for starters, I'm sorry for the lack in everything in this blog. I tend to say things, in the sense of wanting to keep up with as a resolution and then I fail and don't keep up with it. Hopefully, this time around, I will have more time to dedicate my time and attention to a lot of things around here and that is including my hobbies. Back to the title at hand, I have been updating my Facebook page more than this blog. Although I am here to explain as to the current changes that will be happening in my Facebook page. You, as the audience, will be seeing posts added each Sunday afternoon of new edited photos I took over my Christmas holiday week off with my family. My family love

On a digital roll

Welcome all or to whoever does read these posts. I Thank you for doing so and I hope you continue. Well, as of late there have been some changes around here, if you didn't realize, but I will point them out better for everyone to be able to see them clearer. Layout I have recently changed the layout on my blog. No, the photo you see as the background is not taken by me. All the credit goes to the appropriate person or people. I might change it to one of mine, but for now I will keep it this way. I also did remove one section that was called "Laptop Covers". Why I did it is because I hardly did any of them recently and the small business, if you can call it that, did not go anywhere. The designs or logos that were available weren't mine and I did not want to get into trouble in any shape or form. If ironically you still want one made by me, with a specific look or theme in mind, do not hesitate to contact me. I did recently create an email specifically for my blog a

New year, new focus!

2017 Welcome all to the New Year, 2017! I know I am late in celebrating the new year. We are already in it for 3 months. Hopefully everyone who wanted more adventures this year will get them soon if not already, those who wanted some goals for themselves have been completed or in the process of completing and if not fit for you, then I hope you are happy and content in your new year! Back to the drawing board! 50x50x50 project So I stumbled upon a nifty project, called you guess it, the "50x50x50 project". This does involve my camera and my new lens, my 50mm 1.8G. Basically what you would have to do is take 50 photos in 50 days only using your 50mm lens. I kind of broke some rules on this project, but still am doing it when I got the time to do so. There's one rule broken, since it did state daily and I'm not doing it daily. I do have a syllabus to follow, so that way I don't loose track or forget what I should be focusing on only. I gave myself this syllabus
