2016 Innuendo Updates

2016
I know its been such a long time since I wrote in here and I do apologize for that. Life has been very hectic, especially since I have moved, changed jobs, and have gotten married since the last post. Since moving and getting married between 2014-2015, I really haven't had any time to do the things I used to love and care for and just do out of randomness, art. This year, 2016, I really want to change that. I really want to get into focus with art again since I haven't had much of it in my life recently and it bothers me so. What am I going to do to fix that, you might ask and here's a small list to explain that.

Photography
For over 5 years now, I have been taking photos using the camera phone I have at the time and whenever I had the chance to actually use or just have in my possession a real camera, I would work myself hard to be good with it. I want to get better with photography since my husband has given me a Nikon DSLR D3200 camera as a Christmas gift. The only way for me to understand and know how a complex camera works is by playing with it almost on a daily basis. Thanks to a friend of mine, she has helped me in giving me Adobe Lightroom and an updated version of Photoshop. Now I just need time and locations in order to practice all the skills and be a landscape photographer. I will try to find a good photography challenge online and try to do the list or at least focus on one item in the list and work on them in Lightroom.

360/Pennybacker Bridge in Lightroom.

I already took several shots of an area near our home and edited it through Lightroom. I will post the rest soon, but for now I will only post one, but the photo above is in Lightroom program. This time I will try to post as much as I can here, but not too much so I can mainly post my work in my Digital Blu Facebook page. I still need to learn the camera and the best settings for landscape and study Lightroom along with everything else. Like I said, I will show my progress here, but not too much.

Photoshop
Speaking of Photoshop, I would like to get back into it. I have found a good site that gives out tutorials for digital paintings and other techniques that I can improve on. I also have downloaded an app onto our Nook in order for me to work on my drawing skills on the go. So hopefully I can get this down too as a habit or just second nature as well. I will show my improvements of this too here, but as well not much.

Writing
This too I want to work on, but sadly I will need to put it on hold longer than my other skills under my belt that I have mentioned. I do need an editor, freelance type, in order for me to dab right onto this and come up with odd short stories and, if possible, a novel. I will still look up to Stephen King for this and hopefully have an audience, small or big enough to be published and recognized decently. For now, on this part, I will just update my other somewhat personal blog in order for these writing skills not to die or be forgotten by me.
